WEDNESDAY SERVICES: Join us for our Study & Holy Eucharist on Wednesday, February 8th @ 10 am. We are in a series of studies on "Challenges from the Scriptures", followed by coffee time. Liturgical Colour: Green. We pray for the Diocese of Maseno North, Kenya. Readings: Isaiah 13: 9-15; Psalm 37: 1-7, 32-33, 41-42 & St. Mark 7: 14-23.

SOCIAL JUSTICE AND ADVOCACY
PRAYER CYCLE of FEBRUARY:

February 5, Epiphany 5

Pray for the Environmental Working Group of the Social Justice and Advocacy Committee, and its work of education, resource-gathering, and communication; and for Epiphany and St. Mark, Parkdale, its work in a community garden project, and its social justice, advocacy, and awareness initiatives.

February 12, Epiphany 6

Pray for the Etobicoke Group Residence, a LOFT residential support program for young women with a history of family violence or breakdown, serious emotional conflict, abuse or, for new Canadians, sponsorship breakdown; and for the Church of the Evangelists, Tottenham, its Thursday community soup and sandwich lunch, which also supports PWRDF, and its Saturday Family Market, which sells used clothing and supports local social service agencies and schools.

February 19, Epiphany 7

Pray for the Flemingdon Park Ministry, Don Mills, and its support and advocacy for immigrants and refugees, women and children living in dangerous and stressful situations, and people in need of legal and food support; and for the Parish of Georgina, its Summer Outreach Chaplaincy to Sibbald Point Provincial Park, its support of ecumenical community dinners, the Georgina Food Pantry, Sandgate Shelter for Women, and other local and international outreach ministries.

February 26, Lent 1

Pray for Grace Church, Markham, its monthly seniors’ lunch, Santa Sacks program for Moorelands Camp, and support of St. Paul’s, Collins, in northern Ontario; and for Grace Church on-the-Hill, its support of the Churches-on-the-Hill Food Bank, The STOP, and other community outreach ministries.

PROPERTY REPORT: The Property Committee reported that two large pew from the nave allowing us to use more space at the nave for special services. This is a new vignette to keep us update about what is happening with our church building and facilities.


FOOD BANK: Thank you very much to everyone who is supporting our Food Bank that we share with those in need. We are asking to focus more into food and supplies for children (diapers). Please, do not bring peanut butter. Thanks.

WHO IS WHO?: Each month we will have a person to discover! A few clues and let us guess the person's name: Always smiling, sits close to her friend, loves to dance, and was missed for almost 2 months. So, who is our person of February? Let us know during the coffee hour.


WORLD DAY OF PRAYER 2012: Please join us! The ecumenical service for West Toronto churches is on Saturday, March 3rd @ 10 am at St. Olave's Anglican Church located at 360 Windermere Avenue (south of Bloor). Service written by the women of Malaysia and prepared for the use by the Women's Inter-Church of Canada (WICC).


CENTENNIAL BOOK: Finally, we ordered to print our Centennial Book. This is a very important contribution to value the history and presence of St. Paul's Church, Runnymede in the city. We thanks Harlan Lunn who through 158 pages with valuable information and photos will allowed us to enjoy the journey of our beloved parish. More information, price and sales next week.
