WEEKLY SMILE: "A little girl, dressed in her Sunday best, was running as fast as she could, trying not to be late for Bible class. As she ran she prayed, "Dear Lord, please don't let me be late! Dear Lord, please don't let me be late!"
While she was running and praying, she tripped on a curb and fell, getting her clothes dirty and tearing her dress. She got up, brushed herself off, and started running again. As she ran she once again began to pray, "Dear Lord, please don't let me be late...But please don't shove me either!"
FREE SALSA LESSON: Every Friday from 6 to 7:30 pm @ The Church of the Holy Trinity - Parroquia San Esteban, in the core of downtown Toronto. Dance therapy in a multicultural ambiance. Great and new music every week. From Merengue to Afro-Jazz dance. Instructors: Olga Cardenas & Rene Salinas. At the chapel, second floor and with air conditioned.

CORN ROAST PARTY: A special tradition at St. Paul's we will celebrate the Corn Roast party on Friday, September 11 starting @ 5 pm. We are looking for a volunteer-coordinator for this event. Contact Betty Morgan or Rotha Sutherland for more details. Thanks!!!!
GLUTEN FREE BREAD: We have started to offering gluten free bread at communion. Please, let us know any other special request regarding wine and bread at our parish. Thank you.
GARDENS OF ST. PAUL'S: Brian Bostwick, who was involved in the rennovation of the gardens of St. Anne's, has offered to help do a similar job for St. Paul's. The first stage will be done by a work party of senior boys who will weed the border under Brian's supervision (thereby earning credits for their community service necessary for high school leaving.) We hope to have this first stage done before the July BBQ.
Then new plants and shrubs, together with some form of border definition - probably rocks - will be purchased, using money from the Flower Fund. Carole Hein & Rotha Sutherland will continue to be involved in the work - if you are interested in helping, please contact Brian, Carole or Rotha.
EPILOGUE: Come and join us. Our Eucharist Sunday Service @ 10:30 am. and Wednesday Study & Holy Eucharist Celebration @ 10:00 am.
God bless you
FR. MAURICE FRANCOIS+
