“God does not die on the day we ceased to believe in a personal deity,
but we die on the day when our lives cease to be illuminated by the steady radiance,
renewed daily, of a wonder the source of which is beyond all reason.”
Dag Hammarskjol
Former U.N. General Secretary.

A SUGGESTED LETTER TO INVITE OTHERS

An example of a personal letter is provided which would be more effective than the available pre-printed cards. You can use this text, in part or wholly, as appropriate for the addressee, or you may wish to create your own messages.

Whether you choose to use the pre-printed cards or your own texts please mail them by the end of this week (Friday 17 Sept.)
The order of message effectiveness is
1. handwritten letter;
2. typed letter, handwritten greeting and signature;
3. e-mail;
4. preprinted card.
Follow-up telephone calls during the last part of next week (ending Saturday 25 Sept.) are of great importance.
Thank you.
