December 9, Advent 2 –Pray forAll Saints, King City, its provision of meals for residents of Crosslinks Housing and its emergency assistance to members of the community;
and forAll Saints, Kingsway, its Out of the Cold program, its involvement in a breakfast program at All Saints, Sherbourne, for women working in the sex trade, and its support of the Gatehouse child abuse healing and prevention program, the community outreach and advocacy initiatives of the Stonegate Ecumenical Ministry, Watoto Schools in Uganda, and Habitat for Humanity.
December 16, Advent 3Pray for All Saints, Whitby, its Deacon’s Food Cupboard, its assistance for single mothers in Oshawa, and its Christmas hamper program;
and forthe Church of the Ascension, Don Mills, its Community Share food bank and ESL programming.

December 23, Advent 4 –Pray forthe Parish of Belmont, its fundraising for medical equipment at Campellford Hospital and the Peterborough Regional Health Centre, its involvement with Habitat for Humanity, and its advocacy for affordable housing and poverty reduction;
and forthe Parish of Bobcaygeon, its assistance to the Community Foodbank, parish nurse initiative, outreach breakfast, and support of Sleeping Children Around the World and the El Hogar Orphanage in Honduras.

December 30, Christmas 1 –Pray forChrist Church, Brampton, its support of the local food bank, ministry to at-risk youth and Family Neighbourhood Resource Centre, and its support for many FaithWorks ministries including The Bridge Prison Ministry;
and forChrist Church, Bolton, its support for Caledon Community Services and other local agencies, and its involvement in the “Vote for a Poverty Free Ontario” sign campaign.
