Dear Friends,
.

The journey of Lent is nearing an end as we enter Holy Week, and the solemn three days of the Triduum that mark the central events of our salvation through the passion and death, burial and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.
.
When we began Lent on Ash Wednesday, I wrote with some suggestions from SSJE and these words, "The pressures (and the even joys) of ministry can just as easily consume all our energy and overwhelm us as they can bring us closer to the One we serve…I hope you will make the commitment this Lent to something that feeds your spirit and reconnects you with God our saviour and sanctifier."
.
What has fed your spirit and reconnected you with God this season? I'd be delighted to receive your stories that, with your permission, I might share with your brothers and sisters to encourage us in this ministry to which we have been ordained.
.
Whether your experience of Lent has been generously fruitful or dismally barren or just so-so, there are fresh opportunities to walk closer to Jesus this week.
.
As you walk the way of the Cross, may you find that it is none other than the way of life and peace, and may the God of mercy transform you by his grace.
.
Blessings for Holy Week and the Paschal Feast!
.
