December 8, Advent 2 – Pray for All Saints, Kingsway, its Out of the Cold program, its involvement in a breakfast program at All Saints Sherbourne for women working in the sex trade, and its support of the Gatehouse child abuse healing and prevention program, the community outreach and advocacy initiatives of the Stonegate Ecumenical Ministry, Watoto Schools in Uganda, and Habitat for Humanity; and for All Saints, Sherbourne Street, Toronto, its social work programming, its drop-in centre, its program for women involved in the sex trade, its housing advocacy and community agency connections, and its bread-making program.
December 15, Advent 3 – Pray for All Saints, Whitby, its Deacon's Food Cupboard, and its Christmas hamper program; and for the Church of the Ascension, Don Mills, its Community Share Food Bank and ESL programming.
December 22, Advent 4 – Pray for the Parish of Belmont, its involvement with Habitat for Humanity and the Pikangikum Water Project, and its advocacy for affordable housing, food security, and poverty reduction; and for the Parish of Bobcaygeon, its assistance to the Community Foodbank, parish nurse initiative, outreach breakfast, and support of Sleeping Children Around the World and the El Hogar Orphanage in Honduras.
December 29, Christmas 1 – Pray for Christ Church, Bolton, its support for Caledon Community Services and other local agencies, provision of afghans and teddy bears for people in need, and support of foster children and an orphanage in Haiti; and for Christ Church, Brampton, its support of the local food bank, ministry to at-risk youth and Family Neighbourhood Resource Centre, and its support for many FaithWorks ministries including The Bridge Prison Ministry.
