December 22, Advent 4 – Pray for the Parish of Belmont, its involvement with Habitat for Humanity and the Pikangikum Water Project, and its advocacy for affordable housing, food security, and poverty reduction; and for the Parish of Bobcaygeon, its assistance to the Community Foodbank, parish nurse initiative, outreach breakfast, and support of Sleeping Children Around the World and the El Hogar Orphanage in Honduras.
December 29, Christmas 1 – Pray for Christ Church, Bolton, its support for Caledon Community Services and other local agencies, provision of afghans and teddy bears for people in need, and support of foster children and an orphanage in Haiti; and for Christ Church, Brampton, its support of the local food bank, ministry to at-risk youth and Family Neighbourhood Resource Centre, and its support for many FaithWorks ministries including The Bridge Prison Ministry.
